In my mind I’m gone to Carolina… did I get the tune stuck in your head?! Well, lucky for me, it is not just in my head and I am actually in North Carolina! I am so grateful William flew me up here a week early to fully prepare and embrace the holiday season with his family. I always love being with my in-laws, especially in the place my heart loves the most!
I have only been here for about 48 hours and we have already covered lottttts of ground! Today’s post is just a short and sweet update as I have been enjoying some much-needed rest and family time. I will continue with regular posts tomorrow! 🙂 With this being the last official week until Christmas, it is filled to the brim with activities and I can’t wait to fill you in as our family celebrates one of our most treasured times of the year.
Before we begin this final week-stretch to Christmas, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my blog every week. I hope that this has become/becomes a place where you always leave refreshed, inspired and with a smile on your face 🙂 I truly am grateful for you and wish you the sweetest holiday season with your family! It is not about the number of gifts we can wrap and place under our perfectly trimmed trees, but the sweet time and cherished memories we make.
And as much as I love this time of year, I also know how difficult it can be to celebrate when a piece of your heart is no longer here. If you have lost a loved one, whether in the last 12 months or the last 50 years – I know it is never easy and my heart aches for you.
May we all be reminded of the wonders of His love this holiday!
Wishing you a wonderful week filled with JOY!
