Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I know all of my Chicago friends got hit with some snow, I hope you all stayed warm 🙂
My weekend was both fun and relaxing, (my favorite)! Friday I met up with some of the sweetest friends that I sadly do not get to see often enough :\ But, this year I am really making it a priority to surround myself (and Will) with amazing community. We were not created to do life alone! And we sure as heck won’t let distance get in the way of some awesome friendships.
The girls and I went to “Food Truck Friday” in Jupiter and it was so fun! It was like a fair of food trucks haha they had everything from pizza and tacos to sandwiches and donuts! I wish I would have gotten a photo of the trucks all lined up. It was such a beautiful Florida night, not too hot, so we sat and ate our food and caught up. They are the kind of friends you can just pick back up where you left off, and they are so dear to my heart!! We then headed back to Annas place with the intention of watching Monday’s episode of the Bachelor. And being girls, we ended up starting a different show, pausing that show and talking for 2 hours instead haha it was the best night!
The sweetest, most genuine hearted and beautiful friends inside and out! Love love love these ladies!!
Saturday turned into a “date day”. Will and I ran some errands and hung out until we went to our Hot Yoga class! This is the 2nd week we have gone to this class and we have absolutely loved it. I used to go to Corepower Yoga when I lived in Chicago and fell in love with it. When I would go to a class I was able to fully free my mind and relax. William has really enjoyed going too, they keep the room around 105 degrees and it has been a great challenge for him. We are looking forward to continuing this weekly 🙂
After yoga, we picked up some pressed juice and smoothie bowls and headed home! We decided to see what all the hype was about with the new Netflix show “You”. We got sucked in and completed the series by the end of the weekend! Haha. It’s definitely different but we did not expect it to get so intense!
We spent Sunday laying pretty low. William woke up not feeling well so we got some work done most of the morning and spent the afternoon binge-watching the rest of the Netflix series! I made seared scallops over fettuccini and salads for dinner in hopes to help Will feel a little better. (Does anyone else crave healthier food when they are sick?!) I made him some sleepytime tea and we called it a night early!
And that wraps up our weekend! What did you do?! Do you prefer to have plans each weekend or take advantage of some down time?! Let me know in the comments 🙂 I like a mixture of both! Wishing you an amazing week!
With Love,
Rebecca Wright
